SERVO secures entry into NSF White Book - H1 Category
SERVO
has secured an entry into the H1 category of Food Grade
Lubricants of the National Sanitation Foundation's (NSF)
White Book.
NSF is an independent, non-profit organization, committed
to public health, safety and protection of environment,
which certifies lubricants for the food processing
industry.
IndianOil is the only Indian corporate house that
finds its name included in the NSF white book along
with international companies like Mobil, Shell &
Anderol. In the present scenario of fast growing food
processing industry, with the introduction of legislation,
mandatory use of NSF approved lubricants will become
essential. The approval from NSF for SERVO food grade
lubricants will go a long way in getting business
edge to IndianOil in the food processing industry.
Seven new SERVO lubricants viz Servochainlube FG
150, Servochainlube FG 220, Servosystem FG 32, Servosystem
FG 46, Servosystem FG 68, Servogrease FG 2 and Servogrease
FG EP2 received approval from the National Sanitation
Foundation (NSF) for H1 category of lubricants.
There are now 12 food grade lubricants from SERVO,
formulated with specially chosen additives, in the
NSF White Book listing. This includes the five H2
categories of lubricants, viz Servosynco FG 32, Servosynco
FG 68, Servosynco FG 100, Servosynco FG 150 and Servosynco
FG 270 which had earlier been approved by NSF.
Food grade lubricants are specially designed formulations
blended with special class of non-toxic base materials
and additives. Once approved, these products are acceptable
as lubricants in food processing industry where there
is possibility of incidental food contact (H1 category)
and on locations where there is no possibility of
food contact in and around food processing areas (H2
category).
