| Personnel Chiefs’ Meet is the forum of Directors (HR) and other senior HR executives of the Petroleum sector PSUs. The meet addresses contemporary industry level issues / strategies to evolve collective policy approaches on an industry basis relevant to changing environment. |

| Evolution |

The idea for having a forum for Personnel Chiefs’ of the Oil companies was to share best practices and innovations undertaken by individual companies in the face of continuous expansion of the sector from mid eighties onwards. The forum started functioning way back in 1984 where the meeting took place with eight member companies – BRPL, CRL, HPCL. IBP, IOC, MRL, OIL and ONGC. Since then the meet has expanded to include all the PSU companies from the oil and gas sector.
After the inauguration Meet hosted by ONGC at Dehra Dun on 8th/9th August 1984, so far 40 Meets have been held. The last Meet was hosted by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (CPCL) on 1st & 2nd December 2006 at Chennai. IOC functions as Secretariat to the Meet.

| Objective of the Meet |

To evolve collective policy approaches on an Industry basis with due regard to the uniqueness of each member organization. The forum believes that such collaborative synergies will benefit the Industry and the Nation as well.
