IndianOil has retained its position as one of the Top 10 Indian Brands in the latest study of the world's top 500 Brands published by Brand Finance, UK.

Brand Finance is the world's leading independent branded business valuation and strategy consultancy. Every year, it values over 3,500 brands – across all sectors and geographies. The results are tabulated and published in the media. Following a transparent and accessible brand evaluation methodology, Brand Finance calculates the values of the brands in its league tables using the Royalty Relief approach. This involves estimating the likely future that is attributable to a brand to arrive at a ‘brand value' understood as a net economic benefit that a licensor would achieve by licencing the brand in the open market.
‘Oscar of the Energy Sector'
This recognition comes close on the heels of IndianOil having been adjudged as the best company in the category “Industry Leadership Award – Downstream” at the 2017 edition of the prestigious Platts Global Energy Awards. The awards, widely recognised as the ‘Oscars of the Energy Sector,' adjudged IndianOil as a "future-ready" company with a strong performance “outpacing its competitors.”
Also, IndianOil has once again emerged as the Fourth Best Place to Work For in India, and the Best PSU to Work For, recently.
Over the years, IndianOil has built a powerhouse brand with an enduring appeal that reflects the sustained trust and patronage of generations of customers. It owns a bouquet of much-loved brands such as Indane, SERVO and PROPEL, which are market leaders in their respective domains.
The IndianOil brand has been recognised at several prestigious forums over the years. It has been consistently rated as the Most Trusted Brand (Petrol Station category) by Readers' Digest. Brand IndianOil has also been conferred the Superbrand status for the last eight years. Indane and SERVO too are Superbrands.
