    Refining giant Indian Oil Corp (IOC) is preparing for a future when batteries will increasingly replace car fuel tanks but for the moment is investing Rs 45,000 crore to expand its refining capacity to meet the rapidly rising fuel consumption in the country.

    Flagship refiner-marketer IndianOil Corporation has inked an MoU with Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation to examine the possibility of jointly working on setting up a LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) import terminal at Chittagong port and other downstream infrastructure in that country.

(BPC) entering into joint venture projects, leveraging the expertise of the companies and the geographic advantages of the two nations, said a statement from the oil ministry.
