Jammu DO holds Annual Dealers' Convention

Jammu Divisional Office conducted Annual Dealers' Convention for the year 2014-15 recently at Jammu. The Convention titled “Scaling heights through motivation” was based on the theme of teamwork and Innovation. The event commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by Mr. P. K. Das, ED, PSO, in presence of Mr. Rajinder Chugh, Dealers’ President , Mr. Saumitra Pandey , DGM(RS), PSO, Mr. P. K. Hooda, DGM(Ops), PSO, Mr. S. S. Pandita DGM (E), PSO, Mr. R. Ailawadi DGM(F), PSO, Mr. H. K. Shirbhate , CM(RS),PSO, and other officials from PSO and supply locations.
Mr. Das unveiled the Dealers’ Convention Booklet containing all relevant Corporation's polices meant for dealers. Total 180 dealers attended the convention. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Das, complimented the channel partners for attending the conference from far flung areas of J&K including Kargil ,Leh,Kupwara, Baramula etc. He gave an overview of the present business scenario, challenges and opportunity available in retail business in his address. He appreciated Solarisation of three ROs at Leh at an average height of 10500 ft. Further, Mr. Das appreciated the efforts of Team Jammu in getting the Jan Dhan Yojana implemented completely in two sales areas of Jammu-II and Srinagar-I. Mr. Saumitra Pandey, DGM (RS), PSO laid emphasis on knowing customers to strategise the business initiatives. Various initiatives launched by the Company like XSparsh, Xtrapower,Automation, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Solarization were also discussed at length during the convention. Dealers were felicitated for their commendable performance across various parameters. New dealers, commissioned between March’14 to December’14 were welcomed into the IndianOil family.
