Shri A S Sahney, aged 54 years, is a Chemical Engineer from HBTI, Kanpur, with over three decades of expertise in the Refinery and Petrochemical sector. He brings extensive experience from working at five of IndianOil's nine refineries. At IndianOil, he has been instrumental in commissioning and optimizing key refinery units, including the 15 MMTPA Paradip Refinery, which has significantly bolstered India's refining capacity and energy security.
Prior to his appointment as Chairman, he headed IndianOil’s Petrochemical vertical, where he was instrumental in the conceptualization of various petrochemical projects, including the upcoming mega Petrochemical Complex at Paradip, poised to significantly expand IndianOil’s footprint in the sector.

Senthil Kumar, is an Electronics and Communication Engineer with over three decades of versatile experience in the operations & maintenance of IndianOil’s countrywide network of oil & gas pipelines. Before joining the IndianOil Board as Director (Pipelines), he was heading the Operations function at Pipelines Division Head Office.
Shri Senthil has a vast and rich experience and has played a pivotal role in using technology to boost security systems in pipelines and conceptualization of Central Pipeline Information Management Systems (CPIMS) with backbone alternate communication system.
Shri Senthil also played a vital role in pilot testing of drag reducing agents (innovated by IndianOil R&D) in LPG pipelines for the first time.
Shri Senthil is also on the Board of two Joint Venture Companies viz. IHB Ltd. (a JV of IndianOil, HPCL & BPCL) and Indradhanush Gas Grid Ltd., (a JV of IndianOil, ONGC, GAIL, OIL & NRL). IHB Ltd. is implementing the world’s longest LPG pipeline project from Kandla (Gujarat) to Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh). Indradhanush Gas Grid Ltd. is implementing Natural Gas Pipeline projects connecting the states in North East India.
Shri V. Satish Kumar, a Mechanical Engineer and a post graduate in Management from University of Lubljana, Slovenia, has over 3 decades of rich experience in marketing of petroleum products in various geographies of the country. He was appointed as Director (Marketing) of IndianOil w.e.f. 28th October 2021.
As Director (Marketing), he ensured uninterrupted supplies of petroleum products across the various geographies even during the times of natural calamities or other disruptions, exemplifying the spirit of “Nation First “and “On Duty Always”. During his tenure, IndianOil embarked upon large scale modernisation of its retail outlets with new retail visual identity and setting up of new bottling plants, terminals and large retail outlets with wayside amenities on highways in line with Prime Minister’s vision. Shri V. Satish Kumar has laid special focus on improving brand equity of IndianOil due to which the IndianOil’s brand strength index attained 9th rank in 2023 and moved up to 3rd rank in top brands in Oil & Gas companies across the world.
Shri V. Satish Kumar also held the additional charge of Chairman for more than 2 months from September 2024 and Director (Finance) for one year from October 2022. Prior to joining as Director (Marketing), he was heading the marketing network in the States of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh as Executive Director and State Head, Madhya Pradesh State Office. During his career, he has been instrumental in implementing key business initiatives like Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG consumer (DBTL), Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) which have been widely acknowledged for their social impact.
Shri V. Satish Kumar is also a Non-Executive Chairman on the Board of IndianOil (Mauritius) Ltd. (Wholly owned subsidiary of IndianOil), Lanka IOC PLC, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (both are Subsidiaries of IndianOil), Ratnagiri Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. and IndianOil Petronas Private Ltd. (IPPL) (both Joint Venture Companies). He is also a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Petronet LNG Ltd. (a Joint Venture of IndianOil).
During his tenure, record volumes of LPG Imports were handled by IPPL, which helped the country in meeting the increase in the LPG demand under the Govt. of India’s ambitious PMUY Scheme. Shri V. Satish Kumar has widely travelled and has addressed many National as well as International Energy conferences.
Shri Anuj Jain, aged 53 years, is a Commerce Graduate and a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has also completed Masters in Business Finance from ICAI.
Shri Anuj Jain joined IndianOil in 1996 and has over 28 years of rich and varied experience in Oil & Gas industry in handling Finance, Treasury & Fund Management, International Trade, Supply Chain Optimization, Pricing, Shipping, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Law, Corporate Affairs, and Information systems including SAP.
He was also tasked as Senior Vice President (Finance) in Lanka IOC PLC., a listed Subsidiary of IndianOil in Sri Lanka. He is also a Director on Boards of Indian Oil’s strategic subsidiaries & joint ventures including, IndianOil Global Capital Management IFSC Limited, IndianOil TOTAL Private Limited, IOC Middle East FZE and IOCL Singapore Pte Limited, pursuing business interests of IndianOil & it’s partners.
Shri Anuj Jain is assiduously involved in identification and formulation of various business strategies for energy transition of the company in the changing landscape of India’s energy sector. He is committed to enhancing enterprise value of the Company.
Shri Alok Sharma is a post graduate engineer in Chemical Engineering from IIT-Delhi and graduate from Gujarat University. Mr. Sharma has more than 3 decades of rich experience in the downstream energy sector and has made significant contributions to the Indian refining sector in Process, Projects, and Production. Prior to his elevation as Director (Research & Development), Shri Sharma was Executive Director at Centre for High Technology under the MoP&NG, where he played a pivotal role in coordinating refining, petrochemical, and alternative energy activities for pan Indian O&G industry.
During his career in IndianOil, his various achievements inter alia include pivotal role in establishing India’s First Hydrocracker Unit in Gujarat Refinery as well as Hydroprocessing lab and Resid Block at R&D Centre. With a visionary approach to catalyze IndianOil’s ambitions in Alternative Energy, he spearheaded the Research and Development endeavors in hydrogen, gasification, solar, CO2 capture, and energy storage technologies. His noteworthy achievements include successful development of compact reforming HCNG solutions, co-processing of non-edible oils in refinery, nation’s first HCNG trials in Delhi, fuel cell and green hydrogen initiatives besides making critical contributions in carbon capture and ethanol technologies.
Shri Sharma represents the O&G sector on various committees of NITI Aayog, MNRE, DST and Bureau of Energy Efficiency. He is also a member of International Association of Hydrogen Energy (IAHE) and founder member of Hydrogen Association of India (HAI).
Ms. Rashmi Govil, aged 53 years is a Science Graduate and an MBA in Personnel Management from Bundelkhand University. She has three decades of rich and comprehensive experience in Human Resource Management viz. industrial relations, compensation management, performance management, staffing, recruitment, policy formulation, succession planning, systems management, audit etc. gained while working at IndianOil’s Refinery Units, Refinery Headquarters and Corporate Office which has helped her in developing a deep understanding of employee relations. She has also led various strategic HR initiatives like revisiting HR policies and practices to keep them progressive and relevant, with special focus on diversity, inclusion and well-being.
Dr. Sujata Sharma (DIN - 07775238) is an Indian Administrative Service Officer (Andhra Pradesh Cadre) and presently posted as Joint Secretary (M&OR) in Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG). She is Law Graduate and Ph. D in Botany.
She has held various positions such as Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Hyderabad; District Collector Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh; Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Andhra Pradesh; Special Commissioner of Collegiate Education & Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh; Special Commissioner Health & Family Welfare, Andhra Pradesh, Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Managing Director - Pradeshiya Industrial and Investment Corporation of UP Limited (PICUP).
Shri Dilip Gogoi Lalung is a graduate in Arts. He has over 3 decades of experience in the field of social work, wherein he is actively involved with NGOs like Actionaid India, Save the Children, Tata Trust, etc. in programs like community development, education, skill development, health, etc.
Dr. (Prof.) Ashutosh Pant is a B.Tech in Computers from Thompson River University, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, M. Tech in Information Technology from Allahabad and Ph.D in Skill Development.
Dr. (Prof.) Ashutosh Pant is an academician of international repute, having worked with Henan University of Science and Technology, China. He is an eminent motivational speaker and a leading counselor for corporates. He is engaged in strategic policy making and turnkey projects for educational institutions, business corporates and NGOs engaged in socio-cultural-economic empowerment across India. He is also an innovator in the field of IT intervention in education and corporate management.
Dr. Dattatreya Rao Sirpurker is a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) and M.D in Ayurveda Shalya from Osmania University. He is also an M.Sc in Psychology and holds a doctorate in medicine from Pune University.
Dr. Sirpurker retired as a Professor of Shalya (Ayurveda) from S. V. Medical College (UHS), Tirupati. He has 25 years of teaching experience in the department of Shalya, and he is a profound practitioner of Ksharasutra. He has published many articles on Shalya in national and international journals of repute. He is recognized as all India expert in the Ksharasutra technique. He has also been awarded a degree in D.Sc by the Sri Lanka Open University. Dr. Sirpurker has many research papers to his credit.
Shri Prasenjit Biswas is a M.Sc. (Forestry) from FRI Deemed University, Dehradun and is an Indian Forest Services Officer of 1993 batch. He retired from the Indian Forest Service in 2018. He is currently the General Secretary & CEO of Indian Red Cross Society, Tripura State Branch and Member-Executive Committee of the National Bamboo Mission under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, GoI, New Delhi.
He has more than 36 years of experience in managing natural & wildlife resources including amelioration of people belonging to the marginalized section of society and their empowerment & skill, drafting policies of the State Government; management of Wildlife resources; issues related to climate change, IT & GIS based technologies; etc. He has handled various important assignments in the Government of Tripura.
Shri Sudipta Kumar Ray is a Law Graduate and Masters in Public Administration from Utkal University. He is currently a practicing advocate in the area of Corporate Law, Securities Law and Economic Law.

Dr. (Prof.) Ram Naresh Singh is an M.A. in Maithili & English and Ph.D. in Maithili. He is also an LL.B.
Dr. (Prof.) Ram Naresh Singh has more than 4 decades of rich academic experience wherein he has held key positions like Head of Maithili Department, PG Centre, Saharsa and Principal, H.S. College Udakishunganj, Madhepura. He retired as a Professor (Maithili department) from Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Saharsa, Bihar.

Shri Arvind Kumar had joined IndianOil in 1990 and has more than three decades of rich experience in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Materials & Contract Management and Plant Operations & Maintenance including Unit Head of Mathura Refinery and Executive Director (Projects). During his tenure as Executive Director (Projects) in Refineries Division, Shri Kumar played an instrumental role in handling mega Refineries and Petrochemicals projects.
Prior to joining as Director (Refineries) of IndianOil, he was the Managing Director of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), a listed Subsidiary of IndianOil. He was also the Non-Executive Chairman of Indian Additives Limited (a Joint Venture Company of CPCL & Chevron) and a Non-Executive Director in Cauvery Basin Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (a Joint Venture of IndianOil & CPCL).
