IiPM Mission

IiPM is equipped with 2 large multipurpose halls (Vision Tree & Leadership Centre), 5 smart classrooms, 2 residential hostel blocks (Shakti & Jagriti) with well-maintained rooms (120 nos.) and Faculty Accommodation (10 nos.), VILT (Virtual Instructor Led Training room), and many recreation facilities like Gymnasia, Indoor & Outdoor play courts and Yoga Hall which provides the best infrastructure for conducting all kinds of training programmes and group activities.

IiPM’s refreshing and beautiful ambience sprawling over 16 acres of lush green campus, water bodies and landscaped spots offers suitable ambience for relaxation, informal interactions and team exercises. An IGBC Platinum rated campus, it offers a perfect recipe for a wholesome training experience. 2 Nos. dining halls and a fully equipped kitchen provide various types of cuisines served in a hygienic environment making the overall learning experience memorable and impactful.

IiPM’s L&D interventions are conceptualized, designed, and curated in consultation with the country’s best B schools (IIM A, IIM B, IIM C, IIM L, XLRI, MDI, etc), professional organizations (Dale Carnegie, Ken Blanchard, Franklin Covey, SHRM, AIMA, etc), L&D institutions and Government bodies, keeping in view the latest developments in the leadership and behavioural space. The inhouse subject matter experts (SMEs) are engaged to offer the latest inputs on the Oil & Gas industry and on the overall energy scenario at national and global levels. These learning inputs are carefully blended to incorporate the latest “changes” and “happenings” in the international economic and business environment, equipping the participants to ensure IndianOil continues to don the “Numero Uno” title in the Indian energy business space and effectively face the challenges of the future.

During the pandemic IiPM has demonstrated its nimble footedness by rolling out web-based employee centric training interventions which helped IOCians to effortlessly navigate through the tough times. Chugging along in its marvellous journey, IiPM has been empowering officers of IndianOil with requisite Knowledge, Skills and above all the right Attitude for success through flagship programmes like Cutting edge, Threshold, Senior Management Programme and Women Leadership Development Programme (Aarohi).

For developing a future ready leadership pipeline, IiPM has leapfrogged in to introducing the world’s best-in-class learning interventions like Harvard ManageMentor® (HMM), One-on-One Executive Coaching (Saarthi), Madhyama (mid-career training programme), L&D Conclaves on contemporary L&D Themes, introduction to new technologies, etc. IiPM has benchmarked its L&D practices by scaling its interventions to the next higher level of measuring the impact and effectiveness. While Kirkpatrick level 2 assessments are carried out for all programmes, level 3 assessments are also carried out for specific key programmes, thereby, computing the learning impact in a scientific way.

IiPM has maintained its legacy of embracing the latest technologies in vogue by adopting the disruptive and exponential technologies in L&D like AV/VR modules, Digital library, Virtual & Blended learning and woven it with traditional instructor led classroom training. With this swift adoption, IiPM has ensured customised and personalised learnings for all the participants.

IiPM has spearheaded many new developmental initiatives ranging from Development of Women Leaders, enhancing core values through programmes on Building and Nurturing Trust, conceiving programmes on key areas and concepts like Emotional Intelligence, Design Thinking, Leadership Communication strategies, Case writing skills, etc. In addition, IiPM also conducts structured on-boarding intervention (CCIM – Common Corporate Induction Module) for the newly recruited officers and prepares them for their new role in the Corporation. The CCIM modules consists of behavioural inputs to smoothen the transition from Campus to Corporate world and broad functional familiarization inputs equipping them to understand IndianOil’s business functions.
