IOC Tops LPG Supplies
New Delhi   10-May-2016

Prompt supplies of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to various camps at Simhastha fair have reduced the inconvenience of seers and other religious bodies organising mass meals for thousands of pilgrims daily.

Though the administration had asked all three public sector oil companies to set up storage points and delivery system in fair area, more than 80% connections were awarded by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

Company's sales manager Ramesh Kumar claimed majority of refill calls are being attended within 15 minutes and around 2000 cylinders are being consumed daily.

Pradeep Kumar, senior manager at Ujjain bottling plant, said additional trucks have been deployed to keep godowns of local gas distributors filled as demand from the city residents has also increased by 20%.
