IndianOil to celebrate golden jubilee year

<b>Dibrugarh:</b> The Digboi unit of IndianOil, which is the headquarters of IndianOil Assam Oil Division and the oldest oil refinery in India, has come up with a two-month long agenda to celebrate the golden jubilee year of the corporation. The IndianOil completes fifty golden years this year. The formal inauguration happened on June 30 at Scope Complex in New Delhi. Mr. B. N. Bankapur, Director of Refineries was the chief guest on the occasion. The Executive Director (HR) Mr. S. Bhalla also spoke on the occasion. The Digboi unit is organizing various competitions on the occasion. There will be music, quiz, photography and inter-departmental cricket competition for the workers while quiz, drawing and football competition for school children. There will be cookery, quiz and elocution competitions for the ladies. A number of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives like free eye operation camp and special programmes for the physically challenged will also be held during the celebration period. A mini marathon race has been scheduled on July 5 commencing from Jubilee Grounds in order to symbolically display the journey of all the employees, their family members, the stakeholders and the people together to achieve the corporate objectives in the years to come.
