“Ensure proper documentation in place” says ED, TNSO during Vigilance Awareness Workshop at Madurai

Two-day Vigilance Awareness Workshop for Retail and Engineering groups was held at Madurai under TNSO where 36 officers nominated from all four State Offices in Southern Region participated. During the workshop, the participants were given live Vigilance cases and the syndicates made presentations on their findings and conclusions, assuming the role of vigilance functionaries. During his inaugural address, Mr. R. Sitharthan, ED, TNSO emphasised on the need for keeping proper documentation of activities to facilitate future queries, if any, on the same. ED, TNSO also shared his own experiences in the field when he faced such enquiries and how he handled the matters to the satisfaction of everyone. Mr. Ashish Kumar, CVM, CO, Vigilance, highlighted on the expectations from the field locations ensuring transparency, integrity and accountability in their day to day activities. Earlier, Mr. T.G. Nagarajan, CGM (Vig.), SR in his welcome address detailed about outreach activities like Vigilance workshops conducted to create awareness among IOC officials on vigilance matters.
