BR organises webinar on World Earth Day

To commemorate World Earth Day 2025, BR organised a webinar in collaboration with the Centre for Environment Education (CEE) on the theme ‘Our Power, Our Planet’. On this occasion, Mr Satya Prakash, ED & RH, BR, reaffirmed IndianOil’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability. He highlighted key initiatives such as water conservation, clean energy adoption and community-focused programmes, reflecting the Corporation’s dedication to ecological balance. The keynote speaker, Padma Shri, Mr Kartikeya V Sarabhai, Founder-Director of CEE, shared insights into CEE’s journey in environmental education and stressed the importance of deepened collaborations between corporates and environmental institutions for a greener future. Mr Sanjay Raizada, ED (PJ & CG), read out the message from the Director (Refineries). Induction training for newly-joined IOCians

L&D, WRPL, organised the ‘Pipelines Division Induction Module’ programme at WRPL, Rajkot, for newly joined non-executives. In his inaugural address, Mr Venkataramanan G, ED & Regional Head, WRPL, remarked that this programme has been specifically curated to orient newly joined non-executives to our pipeline systems and embed the core principles, knowledge, and competencies that define operational excellence across the pipeline network. Mr Chandra Kishore, CGM (HR), encouraged active engagement and networking, while Mr Sujit Kumar, CGM (Operations), highlighted the vast and dynamic nature of WRPL’s operations spanning crude oil, product pipelines, and gas distribution. Ms Arpana Anand, CGM (Technical), urged the participants to embrace continuous learning and stay updated with evolving technologies.
