Meeting with Director, Intelligence Bureau
Strengthening

To strengthen cooperation and to address security concerns and challenges, Mr Tarun Kumar Bisai, CGM (Security), CO, recently met with Mr Tapan Kumar Deka, IPS, Director, Intelligence Bureau, at the Intelligence Bureau Headquarters, New Delhi. The discussion covered the importance of IndianOil in national energy security, its critical infrastructure protection, and the needed inter-agency collaboration. Mr Bisai highlighted concerns about emerging threats of rogue drone handling being faced by industry and appreciated the Intelligence Bureau's role in industrial security. Mr Deka appreciated IndianOil’s contribution to the nation’s energy ecosystem and underscored the importance of continuous coordination between strategic institutions in the interest of national security. Both the dignitaries acknowledged the need for continued dialogue and cooperation to address emerging challenges and leverage institutional strengths for the greater national good. Meeting with Indian Army

Mr Jitendra Kumar, ED & SH, along with Mr Abhishek Bose, GM (IB), WBSO and Mr Sunil Kumar Singh, DIBH, Kolkata DO, recently met Lt Gen R C Srikanth, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Eastern Command, Indian Army. The discussions were held on matters of mutual interest, including the supply of Low Sulphur Low Aromatic SKO, and all-weather-grade diesel to the Indian Army, two specialised fuels for Indian Army units deployed in challenging hilly terrains. Mr Kumar highlighted the strategic importance of the Siliguri Corridor and mentioned that with the anticipated surge in fuel demand, IndianOil reaffirmed its preparedness to scale up operations promptly and efficiently. Lt Gen Srikanth appreciated IndianOil’s proactive approach and strong commitment to enhancing logistical support to the Indian Army. Coordination meeting with SAIL, Bokaro

Lubes Group of BSO recently organised a coordination meeting between IndianOil and SAIL, Bokaro. Mr Birendra Kumar Tiwari, Director-In-Charge, SAIL Bokaro, chaired the session. He emphasised the enduring strategic partnership between the two organisations in the supply of petroleum, oil, and lubricants. Mr Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, ED & SH, BSO, led the IndianOil delegation and highlighted IndianOil’s role as India’s leading energy company, reiterating its commitment to sustainability and net-zero emissions by 2046. The discussions were held on setting up a Consumer Operated Lube Depot at SAIL, Bokaro, re-trial of rust preventive oil ‘SERVO RP 190 ES’ at CRM 3, grease consumption audit at the Hot Strip Mill, rationalisation of conventional lubricant grades in association with the lubrication cell, ensuring smooth supply of sulfur and sulfuric acid, proposal and trial for Nanocut LPG. Channel Partners’ Meet under Bhubaneshwar Indane DO

A strategy meeting was conducted on NDNE business and NFR activities for high-performing channel partners under Bhubaneshwar Indane DO at Balasore LPG BP. Mr B C Jena, CGM (LPG – Strategies), MKHO enlightened channel partners with various present and new initiatives in NDNE and NFR. He discussed one of the pilot projects where a service-based platform other than Domestic LPG will be given to the customers, NFR purchase and other opportunities beyond LPG will be available for expanding the channel partners' business. Mr Jena emphasised that channel partners must develop dedicated manpower strategically for the systematic implementation of NFR sales to be a continuous point of contact for customers. Mr Naro Tundup, CGM (LPG), OSO, addressed channel partners with the importance of NDNE towards sustainable business and encouraged them, saying that the ever-changing flux of the LPG market is changing with the tides.
