IndianOil conferred SCOPE Award for Human Resource Management

At a glittering ceremony at the Vigyan Bhavan today, Her Excellency Smt. Prathiba Devisingh Patil, Hon'ble President of India today conferred the SCOPE Meritorious Award 2009-10 for Best Practices in Human Resource Management upon IndianOil. The award was received by Mr. R.S Butola, Chairman, IndianOil and Mr. Sudhir Bhalla, Director (HR) in the presence of Mr. Praful Patel, Union Minister of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Mr. A. Sai Prathap, Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Government of India, Mr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, and other senior officials from SCOPE. In addition to this, Mr. R.S.Butola also received the SCOPE Maharatna CPSEs 2009-10 award.

The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) is an apex organization of Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs). In its pursuit to promote excellence and competitiveness of public enterprises, it regularly recognises performance in various categories. The award was presented as a part of the celebrations of the second Public Sector Day.
