The 29<sup>th</sup>Town Official Language Implementation Committee (PSUs) meeting organised at Guwahati Refinery

The 29<sup>th</sup>Town Official Language Implementation Committee (PSUs) meeting was held at Guwahati Refinery Training Centre on July 18, 2007 under the Chairmanship of Mr. G. Bhanumurthy, ED (Guwahati Refinery). In his speech, Mr. Bhanumurthy stressed on achieving targets of implementation in the various organisations with mutual cooperation and teamwork and said; “Innovative efforts should be made in further promotion of Hindi as Rajbhasha and also Rastrabhasha.” He complemented member organisations for winning the coveted Town Official Language Implementation Committee first prize. He released Pragjyotika, the annual hindi magazine and awarded prizes to the best article and poem writers. Hindi translation software ‘Mantra’ of Rajbhasha Department was demonstrated during the meeting. A total of fourtytwo Town Official Language Implementation Committee member organisations attended the meeting. Mr. Ashok K. Mishra, Research Officer (Rajbhasha Department) and Mr. Ram Narayan Saroj, Dy.Director(NE), Hindi Teaching Scheme, were also present at the meeting.
