Chairman's Panel of Dealers and Distributors meet at Ooty

The full complement of 26 dealers and 20 distributors from the Chairman's panel hailing from Southern and Western Regions met in the sylvan surroundings of Ooty recently. Mr. Sarthak Behuria, Chairman; Mr. G.C.Daga, Director (Marketing); Mr. V.C.Agrawal, Director (Human Resources & I/c IBP Division); Mr. S.V.Narasimhan, Director (Finance); Mr. A.M.K.Sinha, ED (Retail Sales), Mktg. HO; and other functional heads from the western and southern states attended the meeting, which saw tremendous meeting of minds and re-dedication to the cause of maintaining IndianOil's numero uno position in the market. The dealers' syndicates from both the regions made presentations and brought out topical and relevant issues including electronic fund transfers, revenue enhancement from retail outlets, capability building and expectations of IBP dealers in the post-merger scenario. During the distributors panel meet, their syndicates presented on opportunities and challenges in generating new business through LPG reticulated system, infrastructure enhancement to meet the expectations of the customers, revenue generation through non-fuel sales, and check on diversion of domestic cylinders. The functional heads of retail sales and LPG made comprehensive presentations on the current business scenario and Mr. Behuria and Mr. Daga made thoughtful and strategic observations to guide the business.
