Guwahati Refinery organised two days Hindi Officers Conference

"With new softwares like 'Mantra' et all, much official work can be undertaken in Hindi now", said Mr. G Bhanumurthy, ED (Guwahati Refinery), while inaugurating the two-day Hindi Officers Conference at Guwahati Refinery Training Centre held from August 03-04, 2007. He asked the IOCians to put in their best efforts to implement and propagate Hindi within organisation. IOCians from Barauni, Mathura, Haldia, Gujarat, Panipat, Assam Oil Division, Mumbai Liaison Office, Pipelines Hqrs, R&D Centre, and North-East & Western Zone Pipelines Offices participated in the conference. During the conference implementation of the official language was reviewed and strategies to enhance usage of Hindi as official language, was discussed. Mr. W.R. Borbora, DGM (HR), Mr. A.C. Mishra, DGM (T), Mr. H.C. Jha Hari, DGM (Maintenance.), Dr. Manik Mrigesh, Sr. Mgr (Administration), Refineries Hqrs, New Delhi, were present on the occasion and expressed their views.
