Chairman Launches `LAMP' software

Mr Sarthak Behuria (Chairman), launched the `Legal and Arbitration MIS Package' titled LAMP, developed by Corporate Affairs department, in the presence of Functional Directors on August 16, 2007. LAMP is a software to streamline the data related to legal cases i.e. litigation and arbitration cases and periodic monitoring of these cases across all the divisions. While launching LAMP, Mr. Behuria stressed upon the need to properly analyze the various types of litigation & arbitration cases so as to ultimately reduce the large number of these cases and the costs thereof. Mr. V C Agrawal, Director (HR), released a manual prepared for LAMP users on the occasion. Mr. G C Daga, Director (Marketing), inaugurated the software package by logging on to the `Corporate Affairs Home-Page' (on the Refinery HQ server), where LAMP is hosted. All the dignitaries emphasised that regular updates by all the divisions will be the core for the success of the LAMP software. LAMP is user-friendly customized software encompassing the requirement of all types of legal cases across all the divisions (except HR/Tax related cases) and is accessible to all users dealing with legal cases. With the help of LAMP, various kinds of complex legal MIS reports such as age analysis, claim analysis, legal expenses, category analysis, etc. can be generated at the click of a mouse.
