IOCian becomes Fellow Member of ICS (UK)

Mr. Raj Kumar Jha, Deputy Finance Manager (Shipping), has become the ‘Fellow Member’ of "The Institute of Chartered Ship-brokers (ICS), UK". He has achieved the rare distinction in IndianOil within just 5 months of attaining the primary membership (MICS) of the Institute. The fellow membership of the ICS is prestigious and is a globally recognised course in the areas of Ship-Chartering, Shipping Law, Shipping Business and Shipping Economics. Fellow Members of the Institute are generally members who have sufficient seniority in the industry. They are entitled to be called a "Chartered Shipbroker". Having achieved this distinction at a young age, Raj Kumar is currently posted in the Chartering Cell of the Shipping Department, Refineries Head Office. The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS), whose motto is "Our Word, Our Bond", is the only professional body representing shipbrokers, managers and agents that is recognised internationally. Fellow Membership to this august body is the signature of a personal commitment to the highest international standard services. Raj Kumar is also a Fellow Member of ‘The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’, ‘The Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India’ and ‘The Institute of Company Secretaries of India’.
