First ‘e-ticketing’ counter of IRCTC inaugurated

Mr. G. Tiwari (GM), UPSO -I, inaugurated the first ‘e-ticketing’ counter of IRCTC at the Indane STAR showroom of M/s Domestic Gas Service on August 14, 2007 at Lucknow. A plaque was unveiled by him in presence of Mr. P.K.Singh, DGM (LPG) and Mr. Unnikrishnan C.P (Chief Area Manager), senior IOCians, Indane distributors and media personnel. IndianOil has signed a MoU with the Indian Railways to provide such a facility for the general masses through its indane distributors. M/s Domestic Gas Service, under the aegis of Lucknow Area Office, is owned and managed by its proprietor Mr. Kunj Behari Pandey, commissioned in 1995 and presently handling approx. 14, 000 customers. This ‘Indane’ distributorship was granted the status of ‘STAR’ distributor in the year 2004.
