Price Changes w.e.f midnight of 30<sup> th</sup> / 31<sup> st</sup> August'14

Petrol prices were last revised w.e.f 15th August'14 when selling price was reduced by Rs 1.80/litre (excluding state levies) resulting in Retail Selling Price at Delhi going down by Rs 2.18/litre. This reduction was mainly on the back of a declining trend in international petrol prices.

Since last price change, petrol prices have continued to show a downward trend and the INR-USD exchange rate has also appreciated slightly. The current levels of international oil prices and INR-USD exchange rate warrant a decrease in selling price of petrol in the domestic market. Thus a downward revision in selling price of petrol prices is being effected w.e.f midnight of 30th / 31st August '14.: With this price revision, RSP at Delhi shall decrease by Rs 1.82/litre (including state levies), with corresponding decrease in other States.

In case of LPG, international prices have witnessed a downtrend trend during the previous month. As a consequence, w.e.f 01.09.2014, selling price of Domestic Non-Subsidised LPG cylinder shall reduce by Rs 19.00 for a 14.2 kg cyl and that of LPG Commercial cylinder by Rs 32.50 for a 19 kg cyl (including VAT) at Delhi with corresponding decrease in other states.

Further, in case of Diesel, since prices in international market have shown a downtrend, w.e.f 01.09.2014, selling price of Diesel sold to bulk consumers (Bulk HSD) shall reduce by Rs 1.32/litre at Delhi (including VAT) with corresponding decrease in other states.

For Retail Diesel, on 17th Jan'13, GOI authorized PSU OMCs to increase selling price within a small range every month. Accordingly, an increase of Rs. 0.50/Iitre(excluding VAT) is being effected in Retail Diesel prices, w.e.f midnight of 30th / 31st August '14, resulting in increase of Rs. 0.57/litre in RSP at Delhi (including VAT) with corresponding increase in other states.
