Vigilance Awareness Week flagged-off at IndianOil

Mr. B. Ashok, Chairman, IndianOil, led the Vigilance Awareness Week celebrations across the Corporation at its Corporate Office, in the presence of IndianOil's functional Directors - Mr. Sanjiv Singh, Director (Refineries); Mr. D. Sen, Director (P&BD); Mr. Verghese Cherian, Director (HR); Mr. A.K. Sharma, Director (Finance)'Mr. Anish Aggarwal, Director (Pipelines); along with Mr. Anand Kumar, CVO, and other senior executives of IndianOil.
At IndianOil, good corporate governance and vigilance have been an integral part of the managerial function. Delving on this year's theme 'Preventive Vigilance as a tool of Good Governance', Mr. Ashok said that preventive vigilance is a continuous exercise across all levels of the organisation, from top to bottom. "For us at IndainOil, the three facets of the Vigilance function are Preventive, Punitive and Participative", he added.
Mr. Ashok also highlighted various endeavours of IndianOil that have gone a long way in ensuring transparency, accountability and probity in their dealings with stakeholders – including automation of fuel stations; LPG refill booking through web, IVRS & SMS; PaHal initiative for direct transfer of LPG subsidy to customers' bank accounts; e-tendering; e-payments; and e-collections etc.
To mark the occasion, Vigilance Awareness Newsletter – Vigil – and Vigilance awareness posters were also unveiled by Chairman, IndianOil.
