IndianOil bagged the prestigious SAP ACE Award 2015 for the category Achieving Excellence in SAP Running Operations for the sixth time. SAP ACE award is one of the most coveted customer-focused Information Technology awards, recognising the best of best-run businesses in the Indian subcontinent. On behalf of IndianOil, the award was received by the implementation team comprising of Mr. Narinder Kumar, CM (IS), Mr. Umesh Krishna, M(IS) and Mr. Haripal Singh, DM(IS), at a glittering event held in Mumbai. Mr. Deepak Agarwal, GM (IS), under whose guidance the whole project was implemented, was also present at the event.
IndianOil was selected from amongst 1000 project nominations submitted across 17 different categories from various companies spread across the Indian subcontinent.
The award process involved a three-step evaluation process that included performance benchmarking based on key parameters and international best practices, as well as customer interviews and a detailed jury discussion.
The award was given for the go-live of the latest SAP solution manager for SAP Operation and Service Desk in 2014-15. Whole project was completed in house by the CO-IS team.
