Marketing HQs Team emerge winners in IndianOil Petro Quiz 2006

The Marketing HQs team comprising Mr. Sreeram R.G., Manager (CC) and Mr. J. Jeyes, Dy. Manager (Library), won the 3rd IndianOil Petro Quiz 2006 conducted recently by the HO Training Group for officers of the Marketing Division. Mr. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy and Mr. Thomas G. Cherayil who formed the Southern Region team were presented the Runners-up Award. IndianOil Petro Quiz is a prestigious competition introduced as a Knowledge Management initiative in IndianOil's Marketing Division. The quiz tests the ability of the participants on a wide range of topics like - Books, Management concepts, Advertising, Media, Personalities, Management philosophies, Entertainment, Internet, Information, contemporary issues, etc. Over a hundred teams participated in the contest this year and 10 teams - Two teams each from the Four Regions and Marketing HQs were short-listed for the finals in Mumbai. The 10 teams again went through a Semi Finals out which six teams qualified. The winners from Marketing HQs and the Runners-up from Southern Region were from the final six teams.
