Director (R) visits AOD

"India is positioned to become an international refining hub in future. Everyday new players are jumping onto the bandwagon and in a competitive refining scenario, it is imperative that we improve our refinery margin," said Mr. B.N. Bankapur, Director (Refineries), and Director-In-Charge of AOD, while addressing IOCians at Digboi on September 07, 2007. Mr. P.L. Barua, ED (AOD), warmly received Mr. Bankapur. Mr Bankapur complimented the team for improving distillate yield, maximizing wax production, minimizing fuel and loss and for showing positive growth in the past few months. Mr. Bankapur visited the Centenary Museum at Digboi Refinery. He said that, the Centenary Museum provides a glimpse of the earlier struggle in the oil sector and makes us all proud to have come this far. He also planted a sapling at the Occupational Health Centre. Mr. Bankapur also interacted with the office bearers of the AOC Labour Union and the IOOA (AOD Unit).
