Teachers' Day celebrated at Mathura Refinery

"Teachers have a Pivotal role in Nation building" said Mr. J.P.Guharay, ED (Mathura Refinery) at the Teachers Day celebrations held recently. Mr. A.K.Marchanda, GM (T), Mr. CA Sudarsanam, GM (F), Dr.G.B.Pandey, Principal (Kendriya Vidyalaya), Mr. PS Rajput, Secretary, AICEC of IndianOil Officers Association & Secretary – IOOA: MR Unit, Mr. Achal Singh, Gen.Secretary (IOMRKS), and Mr. SK Mahato, CM (A&W) were part of the celebrations. Mr. J.P.Guharay highlighted the importance of role identification and better quality of education for the overall development of children. He felicitated Dr. GB Pandey, Principal (Kendriya Vidalaya) and Mr. L B Sharma, Principal (Delhi Public School). Mr. Achal Singh underlined the role of teachers in giving a proper direction to the students and moulding the character of a child. Mr. P.S.Rajput called upon the management of both schools to think in line with Mathura Refinery and strive to "create better products" in shaping of the minds of children as Mathura Refinery manufactures finished petroleum products from the Crude Oil. Dr. G.B.Pandey desired that guardians should devote only 10 minutes in a day to interact with the child and obtain feedback on their studies. Mr. L.B.Sharma also spoke on changing scenario in education field and stressed upon teachers' training and up gradation of their knowledge for better customer satisfaction. The teachers from DPS and Kendriya Vidyalaya presented group songs as part of the celebration.
