Ghaziabad to have CNG stations

Ghaziabad will soon has CNG stations. The Indraprashta Gas Limited (IGL), supplier of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) anil Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in the Capital would soon distribute gas in Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida. According to a senior IGL official, the Uttar Pradesh government has given the NOCs to the company to develop, finance, conduct and operate gas distribution network in the three cities. Presently, IGL is operating one CNG dispensing facility in Noida. The IGL officials say 20-km of pipeline has already been laid in Greater Noida and the city would soon have its first CNG station. "The project activities will start shortly in Noida and Ghaziabad for providing the green fuel in these NCR towns," said an official.
