Exploration companies like Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGQ and GSPC can use the Reliance Industries' gas price formula or propose a fresh one to arrive at the sale price of natural gas, they will ' produce in the next few years. "Future gas producers like ONGC and GSPC can use this formula and invite bids from prospective end-users for the biddable component 'C in the formula which in RIL case was kept at zero," a top petroleum ministry official said.
