CA inductees visit Mathura Refinery

Mr. Shamim Akhtar, Finance Manager (IiPM), accompanied a group of 31newly inducted CA Accounts Officers visited Mathura Refinery on September 22, 2007. IOCians from Corporate Communications and Finance Departments accompanied the group who visited the plant area where they saw the Salaya-Mathura-Pipeline, LPG Bottling Plant, Ecological Park and DHDS Control room and cooling towers. Mr. Vijay Mohan, CTRM, welcomed the group and Mr. G. Karthi, CPNM, made a technical presentation on the “Production, Developmental & Environment friendly” activities of Mathura Refinery. The visiting group also enquired about various petroleum products and their working methods that were answered by PR representatives of Mathura refinery. Post lunch the group left for Agra to visit the TAJ MAHAL. Mr. Shamim Akhtar, FM also penned down his views in the Visitors’ Book: “CA inductees were taken to Refinery visit and very good hospitality has been provided. HODs were cordial and helpful. It was a great feeling being at Mathura Refinery.”
