Chairman, IndianOil inaugurates Security Week

Mr. Sanjiv Singh, Chairman, IndianOil, along with senior management members at the Security Week programme held at IndianOil's Corporate Office in New Delhi.

Mr. Sanjiv Singh, Chairman, IndianOil, inaugurated the Security week at IndianOil's Corporate Office in New Delhi today, in the presence of Mr. G K Satish, Director(Planning & Business Development), Mr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra Director (HR), Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Director (Marketing), Mr. Akshay Kumar Singh, Director (Pipelines) and Mr. BK Ravi, Advisor Security.

IndianOil locations across the country shall be observing Security Week from December 13-19, 2019, based on the theme 'Security for Business Continuity' to pay homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the attack on Indian Parliament on 13th December, 2001.

During the inaugural security week programme held at IndianOil's Corporate Office in New Delhi, the employees were sensitized towards security preparedness and special posters, e-magazine and film were released to generate awareness on the importance of security.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sanjiv Singh, Chairman, IndianOil, said that "Keeping in view the size and reach of our organization, it is essential that we remain alert and updated on our security systems at all times. Safety is a continuous effort; awareness of it just the start point and we all must take equal responsibility to make the country safe and secure."

IndianOil's Advisor (Security), Mr. BK Ravi, IPS, said that "All of us at IndianOil should be proactive and pre-emptive in ensuring safety and security of our valuable assets. An important aspect of ensuring our safety is carrying out mock drills frequently and diligently so that in case of an emergency, mishaps and casualties can be avoided."

Chairman, IndianOil also felicitated the personnel of Territorial Army for their duties rendered in the service of the nation during the programme.
