Meritorious children awarded at Mathura Refinery

"Daily grind of hard labour, concentration and devotion of mind are the foundations of student life and having to continuously attend school, college and university to enhance their academic qualifications is a prerogative. All such students who have chosen their preferred areas and also performed well are being awarded by IndianOil to enhance their future studies", said Mr. J.P. Guharay, ED (Mathura Refinery), speaking at the Meritorious Children award function at Mathura Refinery Nagar on October 04, 2007. Lighting the lamp, Mr. A.K. Sinha, CHRM (Mathura Refinery), welcomed the gathering and said "the aim of this scheme is to boost the morale and sprit of meritorious children". On this occasion Mr. Pohap Singh Rajput, A.I.C.E.C. and the secretary of Officers Association Mathura unit, Mr. Achal Singh, General Secretary of Mathura Refinery Karamchari Sangh, and Principal of K.V.S. & DPS greeted and blessed the children for a better future. Since 1991, IndianOil Corporation has been honoring meritorious children of their employees by cash rewards and Certificate of Merit. Mr. A.S. Basu, GM (TS), Mr. A.K. Marchanda, GM (T) , Mr. C.A. Sudershanam, GM (F), Mr. T.K. Das Gupta, DGM (P&U), Mr. Gautam Roy, DGM (TS), Mr. Arun Kumar Garg, DGM (IA) , and the Principals of KVS & DPS, Executives of Officers Association & Karamchari Sangh and a large gathering of parents and children participated in the event.
