Indane: Celebrating 56 Glorious Years in lighting Kitchen Flame of 13.83 Crore Happy Customers

Celebrating 56 Glorious YearsMr Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Housing and Urban Affairs, congratulated IndianOil on the 56th anniversary of the Corporation's superbrand Indane at an event held in New Delhi today. Mr Rameswar Teli, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and labour and employment along with Mr Tarun Kapoor, Secretary, MoP&NG, Mr Navneet Mohan Kothari, Joint Secretary, Marketing, MoP&NG, Mr SM Vaidya, Chairman, IndianOil, along with other CMDs of oil and gas PSUs were also present on the occasion.

At a glittering ceremony organized on the sidelines of the CERA Week, Indian Energy Forum, Mr Hardeep Singh Puri lauded the humongous efforts of IndianOil in serving more than 13.83 crore happy customers since 1965. Mr Rameswar Teli also congratulated Team IndianOil for being one of the most trusted brands of India.

Celebrating 56 Glorious YearsSpeaking on the occasion, Mr Vaidya thanked the Petroleum Minister and all other luminaries of the oil industry present on the occasion for joining the celebrations. "I'm extremely pleased and delighted to share that today marks the 56th Birthday of our iconic brand 'Indane', that was launched on this day in Kolkata in the year 1965. And what a phenomenal journey it has been for this Superbrand over the years! It has revolutionized the Indian kitchens and is ruling every heart in every part of the country, even as it continues to reinvent itself", said Chairman, IndianOil.

He further reiterated that when the entire country was grappling with the ravaging pandemic, Team LPG of IndianOil emerged as a beacon of hope during these trying times.

Celebrating 56 Glorious YearsFrom its humble beginnings in Kolkata in 1965, the Indane distribution network delivers 2.7 million cylinders every day to the 13.83 crore customers served by more than 12760 Indane distributors. Indane's sales network is backed by 47 Indane Area Offices and 94 Bottling Plants.
