Sewree QC laboratory among top three to receive Air BP ALFS certification

Sewree Laboratory has attained a position among the top three performing laboratories for the year 2006 in the laboratory correlation programme. The other two laboratories are SGS, Estonia and South China Blue Sky respectively. Sewree Laboratory, earlier known as Antop Hill Laboratory, is regularly participating in correlation programme on Jet A-1 testing. Recently, Air BP started ranking the laboratories based on the overall performance on testing of Jet A-1 fuels during a calendar year. The criteria is based on precision, accuracy and repeatability of test results of the samples as well as lab management including managing set time lines and result format. Fifteen laboratories of repute from Europe and Asia are the members of this programme. IndianOil’s Marketing Division is also participating in Air BP’s Aviation Fuels Laboratory Support programme since October 1998 after entering into an agreement with Air BP. Air BP, UK, runs Aviation Fuel Laboratory Support programme (AFLS) through which it provides technical support to the member laboratories, organizes correlation programme and conducts training programme in the field of Aviation fuel.
