Spreading Smiles on New Year

Bangalore Divisional Office

The Bangalore Divisional Office (DO) celebrated the New Year by reaching out to the communities IndianOil serve. The team visited Julia Craft Eventide Home Association, an old age home in Bangalore, where 20 cheerful and welcoming senior citizens joined the celebrations. The event featured a ceremonial cake-cutting, distribution of sweets, and gifting of grocery kits containing rice, wheat flour, and pulses. The team also visited Sneh Ghar Orphanage, Bangalore, home to 65 underprivileged children aged 7 to 18. The celebrations included a motivational talk on future prospects, cake-cutting with the youngest and oldest inmates, and distribution of grocery kits to the caretaker of the NGO. At M Krishna Blind School, Salagame Road, Hassan, the New Year programme featured cake-cutting and gifting specially designed cricket balls and bats to promote team spirit among visually impaired students. The festivities extended to Mythri School, Mysore, dedicated to intellectually challenged children, where sweets were distributed to students and staff, spreading joy and New Year cheer.

Chennai Divisional Office

As the world welcomed the New Year 2025, the Chennai Divisional Office team embarked on a heartfelt mission to spread love, care, and inclusivity among the underprivileged. The team organised a special visit to the Child Orphanage home, Aram Child Foundation Trust in Tiruvallur & IPD Orthopedic Centre, Andhra Mahila Sabha, Chennai - home for differently-abled children. The event was inspired by a message from the Chairman, who urged all LICs to reinforce their commitment to the communities they serve. The celebration began with a special assembly, where IndianOil team members interacted with the children and played games together. The event’s highlight was a cake-cutting ceremony, where the children and our team members came together to mark the beginning of the New Year.

Tinsukia Divisional Office

Team Tinsukia Divisional Office began 2025 with a heartfelt outreach initiative at Gyanangkush Residential School, Tinsukia (under Gyanangkush Residential Child Welfare Project of Purbottar Vikash Parishad) on January 1, 2025. Supporting 160 underprivileged children, the team distributed snack packets, sports equipment like footballs, badminton sets, and cricket gear, and gifted a television set for their entertainment. The school’s management expressed gratitude, highlighting the initiative’s positive impact on the children’s well-being and joy. This act reflects IndianOil’s core value of Care and its commitment to bringing hope and smiles to those in need.

Bhopal Indane Divisional Office

Bhopal Indane Divisional Office officials celebrated New Year with orphan girls at ‘Save Our Soul (SOS)’ Balashram, Bhopal, to spread warmth and compassion & reflect IndianOil’s core value of Care & inclusivity. In line with IndianOil’s value of Care, a special session was conducted on ‘Women Health’ for adolescent girls & women, emphasising on the importance of women health and the role of proper hygiene and a balanced diet therein. The session aimed at creating awareness about preventive health and ensuring holistic health improvement of women & adolescent girls. The participants actively interacted during the session.

Sambalpur Indane Divisional Office

On the occasion of New Year, by the noble ideas of HR, Odisha State Office, the IndianOil team spent some valuable moments with ashram inmates of Sambalpur District, Odisha. The team visited three ashrams and distributed sweets, fruits and game items to the children. On the occasion, fruits and sweet packets were distributed by the Sambalpur Indane Divisional Office to the mentally handicapped children and inmates of ‘Utkal Balashram, Dhankauda’, ‘Shakti Sadan’ (Ashram School & Ashray), Dhankauda, Sambalpur. Fruits and different game items were also distributed to the children and inmates of ‘Kalpataru Seva Sikshyashram’, Larpank, Hirakud, Sambalpur by Sambalpur Indane DO & DO officials. Ms Beenapani Panda, CM (LPG-S), Sambalpur Indane DO, Mr Utpal Das, Mgr (LPG-S), SBP LSA & Prop of M/s Maneswar Indane GV were present during the occasion.

Kanpur Indane Divisional Office

As the world ushered in 2025 with cheer, the Kanpur Indane Divisional Office team chose to mark the occasion in a way that resonated with the spirit of Care and inclusivity. At Amrita, a school for special children & rehabilitation centre, the day unfolded in an atmosphere of joy, warmth, and inspiration. Cakes were cut, chocolates and snacks were shared, but what stood out most was the heartfelt interaction with children whose determination defied all odds. Guided by the nurturing environment at Amrita, many of these remarkable young individuals have overcome challenges and are now thriving in full-fledged employment, proving that every limitation can be transformed into strength.

Raipur Indane Divisional Office

On the eve of New Year 2025, aligning with the core values of the corporation, a visit was made by Mr Rupesh Rathore, DLSH, Raipur Indane Divisional Office, along with distributors to N F B Gyandeep Sparsh Kanya Vidyalaya, a school for differently-abled children in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh to celebrate New Year. The visit was also made by Mr Shripad Baxi, CM (LPG Sales), Raipur Indane DO, along with lndane channel partners to a school for blind children in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Students and faculty of these schools not only welcomed the corporation’s initiative but also enjoyed the moment. As a gesture of gratitude, chocolate, sweet and gifts were also distributed.

Guwahati Divisional Office & IOAOD SO

In response to the inspiring call of the Chairman, the Guwahati Divisional Office and CSR team under IOAOD SO ushered in the New Year 2025 by organising a heartfelt outreach initiative at Gan Sarathi Old Age Home to bring smiles to the faces of elderly residents. The event was marked by a spirit of care and joy as the IndianOil team engaged with the residents through meaningful activities. A cake-cutting ceremony was held, symbolising the warmth of togetherness. Sweets and snack packets were distributed among the residents, spreading smiles and cheer. Adding a special touch to the event, one of the elderly residents expressed her gratitude to the IndianOil team through a heartfelt song, creating a moment of shared emotion and connection.

Jabalpur Indane Divisional Office

To reinforce the commitment to the communities IndianOil serve and ensure that initial actions reflect IndianOil’s core values of Care and inclusivity, DLH, Jabalpur Indane Divisional Office and the team marked the beginning of the New Year 2025 by celebrating with the students of Netraheen Kanya High School, a boarding institution for blind girls in Jabalur.

Bharatpur Terminal

IndianOil officials spread the warmth this New Year by distributing 75 winter blankets to government-run old age homes, Nari Niketan and orphanages in Bharatpur. This noble initiative reflects IndianOil’s value of Care. Mr Nabin Kumar Shaw, DGM (T), Mr R S Bairwa, SM (T) and Mr Pardeep Phullay, AM (T), were present on this occasion to show IndianOil’s dedication to giving back to the community.

Bangalore Terminal

As the calendar flipped to 2025, Team Bangalore Terminal embarked on a journey of kindness, compassion and inclusivity, embodying core values of Care and Nation-First. Inspired by the Chairman’s message to start the New Year 2025 with warmth, Mr J Barath Kumar, DGM (T), and his team set out to positively impact the community. First, the team visited Matrushree Ahshram, a local old age home near the Terminal. The team shared New Year greetings and donated essential items, bringing warmth and joy to the residents. Next, the team visited Manava Sarathi School for underprivileged children. The team distributed sweets to the children and also utensils for use by children at the school mess. The team exchanged the New Year greetings with children and took the opportunity to address them, emphasising the importance of their role as future leaders.

Mangalore Terminal

As part of the New Year celebration, Mangalore Terminal visited Spoorti Special School, a school dedicated to educating children with disabilities. The event was hosted by Mr T Ram Kumar, GM (Terminal), Mangalore Terminal and on account of the above event, employees of the terminal came together to raise an amount of Rs 32,000, which was handed over to the school management for the welfare of the students. Furthermore, the event was marked by a cake-cutting ceremony and distribution of fruits to the children. The school management profusely thanked IndianOil for standing by its core value of Care and leading with empathy.

Bhopal Bottling Plant

On New Year, the Bhopal Bottling Plant team visited The Blind Relief Association in Bhopal and interacted with the children. A small cake-cutting ceremony and sweet distribution were organised to commemorate the beginning of the New Year with zeal and inspiration.

Korba Bottling Plant

On the eve of the New Year, as an initiative reflecting IndianOil’s core value of ‘Care’, Team Korba Bottling Plant distributed sweets, dry fruits and blankets to 40 senior citizens residing at two old age homes in Korba, Chhattisgarh.

Guna Bottling Plant

On New Year, the Guna Bottling Plant brings fresh hopes and smiles to the children battling various illnesses. The Plant officials, demonstrating their commitment to community welfare, visited the Government City Hospital in Guna. In a heartfelt gesture, they distributed fruits to the children in the NRC (Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre) and Thalassemia wards. This compassionate initiative reflects IndianOil’s core values of Care and inclusivity, highlighting the Plant’s unwavering commitment to making a meaningful difference in the commitment to making a meaningful difference in the community.

Indane Bottling Plant, Devanagonthi

As part of the commitment to fostering a culture of care and inclusivity & the call given by the Chairman, Indane Bottling Plant, Devanagonthi, Bangalore, celebrated the New Year with students from Government Higher Primary School, Kanekallu, Bangalore. This initiative was driven by IndianOil’s core values, prioritising community support, empathy, and equal opportunities for all. Mr V M Sundar, GM (P), Devanagonthi BP and his team organised fun-filled and meaningful activities for the students, including educational & interactive sessions to inspire creativity and nurture learning. In addition, the team distributed school bags and stationery to ensure the children had what they needed to start the year with confidence and excitement.

LPG Bottling Plant, Rangpo

On the call of the Chairman to showcase IndianOil’s core value of Care on the first day of 2025, LPG Bottling Plant, Rangpo, organised a visit to Lee Aal Old Age Home, Tintek, Lakadong, Sikkim. This is one of the old age homes situated in the remote part of east Sikkim, dwelling 30 old age men and women. The old age is being run by a local lady who dedicated her life to the well-being of these old age people. The team contributed some essential grocery items as requested by the caretaker of the old age home.

Gulbarga Depot

The Gulbarga Depot team, along with the Gulbarga Sales Office team, marked the New Year with an outreach programme that spread joy and kindness to the residents of Matoshree Ambubai Residential School for Blind Girls and Sahaya Old Age Home. Matoshree Ambubai Residential School is home to 75 visually impaired girls who undergo schooling up to the tenth standard. Sweets were distributed, lighting up the day for the young residents. Meanwhile, at Sahaya Old Age Home, the team extended their generosity by distributing fruits and daily essentials to its 15 elderly residents. The school management and the old age home residents expressed their heartfelt appreciation and extended blessings to IndianOil for their thoughtful and noble gesture.

Bijapur Depot

At the onset of New Year, the Bijapur Depot team organised a heartwarming event for specially-abled children school - Swapna Residential School in Bijapur. The event began with a warm welcome from school staff, who highlighted the importance of inclusivity and the joy of celebrating together. The address was given by SDM, Bijapur Depot, who wished all the members present a joyful and prosperous year. Team Bijapur interacted with the children and motivated them to fulfil their dreams for the future. Team Bijapur also distributed the cake and gifts. The event featured the core value of Care.

CGD, Bhagalpur

CGD, Bhagalpur, celebrated the first day of New Year 2025 by spreading joy and warmth at the Ramanandi Devi Hindu Anathalaya in Nathnagar, Bhagalpur, which was established 99 years ago and has now entered its 100th year of service to society. The event featured heartfelt interactions between IndianOil representatives and the children, fostering a sense of community and care. A cake-cutting ceremony added to the celebrations, symbolising unity and new beginnings. Blankets and water bottles were distributed to the children, ensuring they felt cherished and supported.

SRPL, Chennai Pump Station and Ennore Dispatch Terminal

Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL), Chennai Pump Station and Ennore Dispatch Terminal teams together spent a memorable day this New Year at Street Vision Children Home, Chennai. The home provides shelter and takes care of approximately 30 street orphan kids of all ages. The visiting IOCians were privileged to extend support in the form of provisions for two months for their cause.

Northern Region Pipelines, Mathura

Embodying IndianOil’s core value of ‘Care’, the Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Mathura employees undertook heartfelt initiatives as part of their Initiative for Social Responsibility (ISR) to give back to the community. On the occasion of the New Year, the team visited an old age home in Keetham, Agra, where they organised a blanket, socks, and gloves distribution drive to provide warmth and comfort to over 100 senior citizens during the harsh winter. Snack packets were also distributed, accompanied by kind words and warm interactions, bringing smiles and joy to the elderly residents and staff. Extending this spirit of care further, NRPL, Mathura employees also visited the Rajkiya Bal Shishu Griha, an orphanage in Mathura, where they distributed toys and stationery kits to the children.

Western Region Pipelines, Viramgam

On New Year’s Day, Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Viramgam organised a special event in collaboration with the Viramgam Lions Club to support children with disabilities. The event was attended by key officials, including Mr Manoj Gupta, General Manager, Mr Aashish Gokhale, Deputy General Manager and other employees of WRPL, Viramgam. During the programme, there was an in-depth discussion with the Lions Club Chairman about the needs of children with disabilities and effective management strategies. On this occasion, Mr Gupta and Mr Gokhale distributed water bottles, jute bags, and snack packets to all the children and staff members.

Eastern Region Pipelines, Banka

Under the guiding principles of IndianOil’s core value of Care, the Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Banka, conducted a heartwarming visit to the Bihar Education Project’s District-Level Blind School Residential Centre in Banka. This thoughtful initiative aimed to bring joy and comfort to the children as they welcomed the New Year. Station In-Charge Mr Anand Vikram of ERPL, Banka, led the visit and interacted with the children and staff. Mr Vikram acknowledged each child’s exceptional talents as ‘beyond comprehension’. As part of the celebrations, the team from IndianOil extended warm New Year wishes to the children and distributed warm clothes and an assortment of sweets. The children enthusiastically showcased their unique abilities, leaving everyone inspired and deeply moved.

Eastern Region Pipelines, Allahabad

To mark the New Year celebrations, Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Allahabad team visited the orphanage and old age home at Allahabad and interacted with an underprivileged group. Support was extended to the group by providing essential items.

Eastern Region Pipelines, Guwahati

Team Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Guwahati Delivery Station, visited the Blind High School, Basistha. The team interacted with the principal and students at the school and distributed sweets among the students. This was part of a visit to outreach for underprivileged groups honouring the core values of Care, Trust and inclusivity.

Western Region Pipelines, Jodhpur

To welcome the New Year 2025 in line with IndianOil’s values of Care and inclusivity, Team Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Jodhpur, led by Mr Jasjit Singh, GM, visited ‘Bal Basera Sansthan, Jodhpur: An orphanage for HIV positive Kids (82 kids at present)’. Employees came forward and contributed to the noble cause with full hearts and distributed snacks, water bottles and daily consumable items.

Northern Region Pipelines, Una

To kick off the New Year 2025, employees of Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Una embarked on an Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) initiative. They distributed blankets, socks and gloves to 25 underprivileged families, bringing warmth and joy to their lives during winter.
